This is an amazing visual document! Thanks! I wonder who painted it? What was his nationality and his intentions? Whose side was the artist trying to vindicate? What side was favored? Is it biased or just representative? You don't have to answer, I am just "tripping" with its possible readings.
i love how the people are the same size as the actual city and have a very casual and bored face. Yet hidden in the picture you can see people stabing each other, almost creating comical visual. it's what you excpect from an old european type of picture. It's very cool, and an extremly creative perspective on war that actually lightens the dark truth about war. Strange but awsome.

I AGREE WITH CHACHER AND THE PHOTO DOES MAKE THE WAR HAPPY LOOKING BY THE CHOICE OF COLOR OF ORANGE AND YELLOW INSTEAD OF DARK BLUES AND DEEP REDS WHICH ARE NORMALLY USED FOR WARS.
ALSO, I FIND THE SIZE OF THE PEOPLE TO BE VERY WIERD BECAUSE DOES IT MEAN THAT THERE WERE MANY AND THE PAINTER DIDNT WANT TO DRAW THEM OR IF IT IS JUST AN ARTISTIC INTERPERTATION.
I THINK THE OTER SIDE IS FAVORED BECAUSE IT HAD MORE PEOPLE

I can see that fafi really want's to be the next coordinator for the next blog. Man she has blogged so much.And although I like the painting ,unlike Jose, the same exact thought went through my mind. The painting did look kind of like people playing in a play house.
i think thats the point jose, to look like a house for kings, maybe it was a painting drawn to be "G" if you get me instead of all the violent drawings of war. It must of been done by a peaceful person or someone that liked war ( jejej it could be both extremes)
