MY FAVORITE HAS BEEN EYGPT BECAUSE IT HAS CHANGED THE WORLD FOREVER. ( NOT THAT THE OTHERS HAVENT) BUT I FELL THAT THEY WERE WELL-ROUNDED SINCE THEY HAD ADVANCEMENTS IN AGRICULTURE, IRRIGATION, WRITING, TRADE, AND ARCHITECTURE + ART AND ALL ARE IMPRESSIVE. THEY WERE A CIVILIZATION AHEAD OF ITS TIME.

PEACE AND LOVE FROM LA FAFFY TAFFY ! :) *

I'd have to agree with fafi. Egypt is definitely the coolest. They automatically just by their immense pyramids but beyond that they just accomplish so much. Like fafi said they were way ahead of their time. seriously, saying that their ahead of their time is a huge understatement Just look at today's great architecture accomplishments and compare it with the pyramids which was built about 4500 years ago,in fact if you were to list all the great architecture accomplishments, the pyramids would be a hefty contender vs all the modern coluasol buildings of today.

Egypt is definitely the best civilization. It did change the world and the future societies that followed it and even influenced the current civilizations that we have now.

id say egypt cuz egypt had the coolest stuff, cool gods, but mostly becuz the egyptians had incredibly advanced weapons very very ahead of their time. i still cant beleive how they fell. this isnt on the book but i kno cuz i saw it on history channel. the egyptian bows took 18 months to make each. and the arrows culd reach a speed of 200mi/hour. no kidding. and ramses developed the famous egyptian sword that looks like a hook with a small point coming out of the back of the hook perfect for DISARMING any weapon and leaving the enemy open for a swift and bloody slash in the throat. and all that with the fast and mannuverable chariots with the circle around the enemy technique with shooting constant arrows thing. i found a pic o' the sword

I love Egypt too. Yet my favorite is Teotihuacan. It mixes the best of Harappa (organized grids), and Egypt (pyramids not as smooth and tall but wide and impressive). I can't get its map out of my head. Teotihuacan, like one of the capitals of the Shang Dynasty (name?), also divided its areas by manufacture, temples and government. What I love the most is that in Teotihuacan THERE WERE NO HUMAN SACRIFICES- so a low level school teacher like me could survive without thinking about losing heart and head over Quetzal.
Estefania, I am rather proud of you for this refreshing discussion. You are giving the extra-mile. LONG LIVE THE FAFER!
